Mechanism of Action: Azithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Indications:

• Pharyngitis & tonsillitis
• Acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis (adequately diagnosed)
• Mild to moderately severe community acquired pneumonia
• Skin and soft diseases

Dosage: OD to BD
