Mechanism of Action: Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering which is needed for them to survive.
Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ceftriaxone against bacteria.
Tazobactum is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ceftriaxone against bacteria.
