Mechanism of Action: Sultamicillin tosilate is a double ester of sulbactam and ampicillin. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering. It has enhanced activity against bacteria and less antibiotic resistance.

Indications:

• Bacterial infections of the skin, abdominal area and female reproductive organs
• Short-term treatment of bacterial infections of sinuses, urinary tract, skin and soft-tissue, abdomen and lungs (pneumonia)

Dosage:Adult: PO - The recommended dose is 375-750mg twice daily.
